2018 Managers of the Year
College City Beverage is happy to name our 2018 Managers of the Year – Tom Morrow and Justin Mulvihill! It is a great honor and well deserved, they do exceptional work for both their teams and the company.
Tom Morrow
What’s the favorite part of your job?
The favorite part of what we do is problem solving. Being able to decide on the fly and come up with a solution, preferably before a problem arises, is a good feeling.
What do you find rewarding?
Being efficient and economical is something I find very rewarding. Finding that balance of safe and efficient, while staying within budget is both challenging and rewarding.
What do you find challenging?
Mentioned above, when I am able to find that perfect balance of safe and efficient, while staying on budget, I find that a challenge, but also rewarding when I achieve it.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
My family earns and gets most of my free time, but when I can I enjoy a round of golf or watching a baseball game.
Justin Mulvihill
What’s the favorite part of your job?
My favorite part is the people I get to work with everyday. Whether it’s internally with our amazing staff at College City or the great retailers that we service.
What do you find rewarding?
When I can say that I helped someone develop as a sales rep. Seeing the growth amongst the sales group we have has been great.
What do you find challenging?
There are challenging area’s in any job. Currently, in the beer industry, the challenge has been working with suppliers to find ways to get consumers to come back to the same beer/brand time and time again. Innovation has been the name of the game over the past couple years, and I guess the challenging part about that is you just never know what new beverage is going to take off and be the next BIG thing. It actually makes our job really fun and interesting at the same time. Always having something new to talk about and sell!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Family time for sure, hunting, ice fishing, golfing and exercising are all things that consume my spare time and make me happy!
