Meet Jason Enfield, Craft Beer Consultant

Jason Enfield 2As one of our most seasoned sales veterans, Jason Enfield knows what he’s talking about when it comes to beer. When he first joined College City Beverage, Enfield worked in delivery. He eventually transitioned into a sales role, which meant change.
Enfield explains that in sales, “you never felt like your day was completely over, whereas in delivery, it was very clear that you did your job because the truck was empty. The reward in sales comes more with seeing placement and volume you’re sending out.” Thanks to Enfield’s work on our sales team, he was recently promoted to be our Off-Premise Craft Beer Consultant.
In this role, Enfield works with a team of salespeople, traveling to visit with our accounts regularly. He draws on years of experience with our unique accounts to help his team do their best work.
His one piece of advice to every salesperson: Always ask. “It’s a strategy that works, and it gains you incremental sales,” Enfield explains. “Make time to build relationships and to talk with people about our brands,” he elaborates. In the end, the beer community really is all about real relationships.
As a sales veteran, Enfield is often a source of advice for our team. We asked Jason why he’s chosen to stick around for all these years. He answered, “It’s the family feel. They are willing to do anything for everybody. The people that own CCB are good people, they make you want to work here and want to stay here.”
