Our Crowned Kings of 3rd Quarter 2024
Adam Gill
Nominated by: Tori Cinnamon, Kenny Malecha, Adam Redman, Ryan Sabyan, Jason Scherer
Why? Driven to serve, Positive energy
Adam has shown that he wants to be a valued player among the Sales team, he wants to be first. He is always looking for all the extra cases and GP spots he can find. He has become a first thought to AB guys when it comes to market visits because they can count on him to have the stores looking great all the time. He has put up some amazing looking displays in New Prague for the last couple of years. His Field of Dreams display win put us at 5 national AB display wins. With the newest win at Coborn’s with the Kona display we grabbed another one. We all remember Hy-Vee $15.99 Busch day, the GM Nick at Hy-Vee loved it so much that the decided to copycat the idea at multiple stores in MN in August and again for Dozinky Days. Adam takes the same energy that he has in his hometown and uses it in other areas. Getting displays at Hy-Vee Shako, Cub and Wayside. Adam does a good job planning ahead and prepping for these displays and floor space – whether it’s using VxP, the Playbook, or recommendations from his stakeholders. He’s been heavily engaged during our sales meetings and brings great energy into any room he steps in to. His energy is contagious and infectious to the rest of the team, and who doesn’t want that! Everyday he wants to get better and is finding ways to do it.

JW Hurst
Nominated by: Jon Burns, Jeff Carpenter, Steve Gaul, Kevin Novak
Why? Driven to serve, Caring and compassionate, Accountability to the team
JW is a silent leader on our warehouse crew. Ever since joining the Warehouse team, JW has not stopped trying to make himself and the process better. His attention to detail is second to none, especially when it comes to receiving in products. Sometimes there are no POs in the system and a quick phone call can smooth things over before it gets too late to make changes after the fact. When we had the first delivery to Costco Chaska, JW was the one who got the ball rolling with the ongoing expectations they deserve. He is efficient in his ways of work and steps in to fulfill the job duties of his fellow cohorts when they are away. You won’t hear JW barking orders to fellow coworkers or hoot’in and holler’in when things are going well. However, you will see a guy who is very consistent in the way he performs his job and is always offering up his opinion/advice when he sees ways in which we could improve our systems. He is a guy that has earned the respect of those who know him and has been a steady rock no matter which department he has worked in.
