We are Committed to Social and Alcohol Responsibility

At College City Beverage we promote the responsible consumption of alcohol by legal age adults. We pledge only to market to adults over the legal drinking age. We provide establishments with responsible drinking marketing materials promoting the use of a designated driver. We understand that alcoholic beverages consumed in moderation can be an enjoyable social experience. However, we also recognize that the over consumption of alcohol can be dangerous to the health and well being of our consumers. Therefore, we pledge to help our retail partners through our TiPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) program that trains servers to recognize signs of over consumption.

TiPS Training
Our certified TiPS training program is available to help our retail partner’s staff learn how to recognize and control over consumption at their establishment or special event. This is a great benefit for the general peace of mind of our retail partner’s staff. In some counties it is required at special events that all staff be trained in this field. The class will educate our retail partner’s staff on steps that can be taken to help defend their business should a legal issue arise. The fee is minimal, less than $20 per attendee. In some cases our retail partner may get a discount on insurance rates for having their staff trained in this area. College City Beverage’s trainer has a flexible schedule offering various times and locations that fit our retail partner’s needs. We can do groups from as few as 2 people up to 20 people.
