Let’s explore the world of Pale Ales and India Pale Ales (IPA). These two are staples in the craft beer scene, each with a unique history and taste profile that caters to various palates.

Pale Ales: The Classic
– Origins: Born in 1700s England, Pale Ales were the stylish answer to the dark ales of the time.
– Body & Color: Sporting a medium body with hues that range from sunny golden to deep amber.
– Taste: Imagine a full-flavored brew that’s friendly on the palate, not too heavy, with an easy malt character.
– Alcohol By Volume (ABV): Moderate drinking at its finest, with ABVs averaging about 4% and 6%.
– Varieties Galore: Pale Ale varieties include the American Pale Ale, British Pale Ale, American Amber Ale, and the refreshing Blonde Pale Ale, to name a few.

Some Pale Ales we distribute include Summit Extra Pale Ale and SweetWater 420.

IPAs: The Hoppy Trailblazers
– Origins: The IPA set sail in the early 1800s, designed to endure the long journey from England to India, thanks to an extra helping of hops.
– Hops Front and Center: IPAs pack a punch with their pronounced hop flavor and a signature bitterness that’s become the style’s hallmark.
– ABV: A bolder brew, IPAs generally hover around 6% to 7% ABV, with some variations scaling much higher.
– Aromatics: Each IPA has fruity notes – think citrus orchards filled with lemons, oranges, and grapefruit.
– The IPA Spectrum:
       – Session IPA: Lighter in alcohol (4%–5%), but not in taste, for those longer sipping sessions.
       – Double/Imperial IPA: A recent ’90s innovation, with ABVs ranging from approximately 7% to 10%.
       – Triple IPA: The pinnacle of hoppiness, Triple IPAs soar above 10% ABV for the brave of heart.

Some IPAs we distribute include Stone IPA, Lift Bridge Hop Dish IPA and Warpigs Foggy Geezer:
