We are proud to announce that in December, we recognized Andy Schmitz and Jim Heintz as our Kings of the Month! CCB is lucky to be home to such a talented, dedicated team of beer professionals. Get to know them below.

Andy Schmitz

Andy has switched gears and moved from our on-premise team to the off-premise team, and the transition has been a great success. His well-organized work style helped smooth the transition, including his industrious training of his replacement. We can’t wait to see what Andy does in his new role!

What is your job title?  Beer Consultant
What is your favorite part of your job? No two days are ever the same, there is always a new challenge to take on or something new to learn everyday
What is your go-to beer recommendation and why? Kona Big Wave because it’s a very approachable and drinkable beer that appeals to not only they seasoned craft beer consumer but is also a great crossover beer for consumers who are new to the craft scene
What is your favorite thing to do when not at work? Hunt
What game will you for sure be watching this month? Super Bowl Commercials in Feb
What is your favorite vacation destination or what vacation destination is on your bucket list? Bucket List – Virgin Islands
What is your favorite tv show or movie? Hell On Wheels

Jim Heintz

Jim has also taken on a new role in the company and embraced it wholeheartedly! Jim always has a smile on his face, a welcoming tone, and a willingness to help you with any problem as it surfaces.
When did you start at College City? I started in January of 2007.
What is your job title? Systems Analyst
What is your favorite part of your job? I like the problem solving aspect of the job and helping others
What is your go-to beer recommendation and why? Budweiser. An original full flavored lager with the right combination of flavor and drinkability.
What is your favorite thing to do when not at work? Playing cards, playing sports, and being with friends and family
What game will you for sure be watching this month? WWE Royal Rumble and the Super Bowl
What is your favorite vacation destination or what vacation destination is on your bucket list? I would love to go to Alaska.
What is your favorite tv show or movie? Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
What is your favorite food? Burgers. Trying all different types.
